Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed al-Khateeb said yesterday that Egypt, Greece and Saudi Arabia are preparing a joint bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

"Riyadh is considering the possibility of joining Egypt and Greece to host the 2030 World Cup. These three countries will invest a lot in infrastructure and sports facilities and will definitely be ready for the event." Ahmed Al-Hati Bu said so.

Ahmed Khatib also said that by 2030, his country will have the best football stadium and fan area in the world. He believes a joint bid by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece to host the World Cup can be successful.
