The first Monday Powerball lottery drawing will be held this evening and offer a jackpot of $293 million with a cash option of $214.2 million.

Monday’s winning numbers were: 17, 36, 47, 60, and 61. The Powerball drawn was 15 with a Power Play of 3X:

The new Monday drawing also comes with an additional twist — a second chance “Double Play” drawing for an extra $1 that will be held immediately after the regular drawing and have a $10 million jackpot.

The Double Play drawing will also be held after the Wednesday and Saturday night drawings. Powerball players don’t have to take part in the add-on game, but Double Play tickets can’t be bought separately.

Players will have the same set of numbers in both the main Powerball drawing and Double Play drawing. Powerball tickets that include the Double Play add-on will be eligible to win prizes in both drawings.

No one across the country hit Saturday’s $286.9 million drawings but a pair of second-prize, $1 million tickets were sold — one in Ohio and one in West Virginia. Each matched five numbers but not the Powerball.

Saturday’s powerball winning numbers were: 16, 28, 26, 39 and 59. The Powerball drawn was 4 with a Power Play of 2X.
